New Black & White Fabric Line!

Today, I spent the day leaning over the counter and moving my new set of black india ink markers across the page at Delve MIY, Frond Design Studios working artist studio.

Yes.....you read those words right...
Black India Ink Markers
NOT
Black Sharpie Markers

After a long talk with about archival inks with a fellow artist, it felt important to choose a marker that wouldn't fade or change over time. It is taking a bit of adjusting......and there are more brands I want to try. It seems that the marker business is busting with all kinds new possibilities.

This next fabric line will look a little different due to depth that I am now able to achieve. So, this is a GOOD thing!

However, sharpies will still hold a special place in my heart. A sweet special place. My first two fabric lines were designed yeilding the power of the sharpie. I really understand them and they understand me. So, in my sketchbook, sharpie will still have a place......but on a large sheet if paper with 40 plus hours....that will now be drawn with archival ink.

Stepping up my marker game is a good thing!

I really wish I could show you what I am working on, but I can't.
Nope.
You are going to have to wait.

Here is a link to my current black and whites that are slowly, but surely being retired.

So....here we have it.
I have blogged 2 for 2 days on my blogging goal.
Soon, I will share pictures of our Christmas decor (there is obviously enough days for that). It would have been tonight, but my body wanted to chill on the couch with our dog Sadie instead of putting the finishing touches in our dining room. Guess lazy won tonight!
And.......
IT FEELS SO GOOD!

See you tomorrow.

  1. I am anxious to see your new line. I am sure it is very creative, like your other designs.
